“Mural Panel Project 2.0″, 2020, Acrylics and Spray paint on 60″ x 60” wooden board, Levine Museum of the New South, Charlotte, NC. the Mural Panel project is a collaborative project founded on Davidson College’s campus by Makayla Binter ’19. The first iteration originally intended to confront social issues including racism, colorism, homophobia, and classism. This most recent iteration was intended to appreciate Black beauty and resiliency. Artists: Makayla Binter, Lord Phly, Matthew Clayburn, Adelle Patten.
